Desiderata LLC respects the rights of creators and the legitimate uses of their work. This policy is part of Hillclimb's Terms of Service.
This policy covers material stored in or served by Hillclimb: goals and their briefs, outcomes, evidence text, links, and files, plans and their revisions, comments, organization names and logos, and pages shown through share links. Most Hillclimb content is private to the organization that owns it and the people it chooses to share with. Identify the specific Hillclimb URL or share link where you found the material. If the material is private and you cannot give a URL, describe how you encountered it, for example as a member or guest of an organization, through a share link someone sent you, or through a trigger delivery, and name the organization and tree if you know them. Removing material from Hillclimb does not remove copies held elsewhere, such as in an organization's own systems, a trigger recipient's systems, or an agent provider's systems; their operators handle removal there.

Send a copyright report
Email hello@hillclimb.me with the subject Copyright notice — Hillclimb. Address postal reports to:
Desiderata LLC — Copyright Manager
4607 Library Road, Ste 220 PMB 630
Bethel Park, PA 15102
United States
Please include:
- Your physical or electronic signature as the owner or a person authorized to act for the owner of the allegedly infringed exclusive right.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if your notice covers multiple works.
- Identification of the material you want removed or disabled, with enough detail to locate it: the exact URL or share link, and the specific goal, outcome, evidence item, file name, plan revision, or comment where possible. For private material without a URL, explain how you encountered it as described above.
- Your name and sufficient contact information, including an address, telephone number, and email address if available.
- A statement of your good-faith belief that the complained-of use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the allegedly infringed exclusive right.
Consider permission, licenses, fair use, and other legal exceptions before sending a notice. You do not need to buy a service, provide a court order, or have a copyright registration for us to consider your notice. Do not send passwords, share-link tokens you were not given, or unrelated sensitive information. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation can expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
What happens next
We review reports and act expeditiously to remove or disable access to material identified in a substantially compliant notice when the DMCA applies. If a notice is incomplete but substantially identifies the work, the material to locate, and the sender's contact information, we promptly attempt to contact the sender or otherwise reasonably assist them in providing a complete notice as required by the DMCA. We may request clarification for other incomplete or unclear reports. The suggested email subject is for routing and is not a condition of a valid notice. We may also act on other information establishing infringement or other violations; a formal notice is not the only way to alert us to a concern.
Depending on where the material appears, disabling access may mean removing or restricting a file, an evidence item, a share link, or other content, or restricting an account or organization. Because evidence and plan revisions are append-only in Hillclimb, we may disable access to a specific item or revision without removing the rest of the record.
We take reasonable steps to promptly notify the person who submitted the material, and where appropriate the owners and admins of the organization that controls it, when access is disabled. We may provide them with the notice and relevant contact information so they can understand and respond to the claim. We do not publish a complainant's contact information merely because a report was submitted. We retain relevant records as needed to administer claims, enforce this policy, and comply with law, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
If your content was removed by mistake
If you believe removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same contact with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled through mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located. If your address is outside the United States, consent to the jurisdiction of a judicial district where Desiderata LLC may be found. Include a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person's agent.
A counter-notice has legal consequences and will be forwarded to the original complainant, including the contact information the law requires. Obtain legal advice if you are unsure whether to submit one.
After receiving a compliant counter-notice, we promptly provide a copy to the original complainant and inform them that we will restore the material in 10 business days. We restore access no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receipt, unless our contact receives notice that the complainant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity concerning the material. A separate, documented violation of our Terms or law may independently require a restriction; counter-notification does not authorize unrelated prohibited conduct.
Repeat infringement and evasion
We terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances and may terminate or restrict access sooner for serious infringement or abuse. We assess the circumstances, including substantiated notices, counter-notices, retractions, reversals, and attempted evasion. A disputed allegation is not automatically a final finding of infringement. Do not re-upload removed material, use another account, organization, API key, or agent, or otherwise evade a restriction. Contact us to explain an error or appeal an account action.
We accommodate and do not interfere with qualifying standard technical measures as described in 17 U.S.C. § 512(i). This policy does not require general monitoring, does not promise advance review of every upload, and does not excuse ignoring specific information requiring action.

For trademark, privacy, security, or other concerns, email hello@hillclimb.me with the relevant URLs or share links, your relationship to the issue, and supporting details.
